The Build

Built To Work & Play

A gloss-black Ford F-150 Raptor built to run wide open. We started up front with a Camburg long-travel kit with slapper arms, then anchored every corner with Icon 3.0 IBP shocks — 3.0 internal-bypass units front and rear — backed by Icon rear bump stops and a set of Deaver leaf springs out back. To clear the added travel and the 37s, we fit ADV fiberglass front fenders and paint-matched them to the gloss black so they look factory. Up front, an ADD Pro V1 bolt-on bumper carries Rigid D-Series lighting, with another set of Rigid D-Series on the A-pillars. The rolling stock is Raceline Monster beadlock wheels, powder-coated gray with black rings, wrapped in 37/12.5R17 BFGoodrich KO2s.

The Details

Long Travel, Done Right

A Camburg long-travel kit with slapper arms widens the front track and lets the suspension move the way it was meant to. Holding it all together are Icon 3.0 IBP shocks — 3.0 internal-bypass units at all four corners — with Icon rear bump stops catching the big hits and Deaver springs out back for a planted, controlled ride. This is the kind of setup that turns whoops and washboard into something the truck just eats.

Fenders That Look Factory

More travel and bigger rubber need room to breathe. We fit ADV fiberglass front fenders and paint-matched them to the gloss black so they disappear into the body — the extra clearance the long-travel setup and 37-inch tires need, without looking like an afterthought.

Lit for the Night

An ADD Pro V1 bolt-on bumper cleans up the front end and carries a set of Rigid D-Series lights, with another set of Rigid D-Series mounted on the A-pillars to fill out the sides where the headlights can't reach. Functional light for night runs, tucked into a clean, bolt-on package.

Wheels & Tires

Raceline Monster beadlock wheels — powder-coated gray with black rings — give the truck a tough, two-tone look and the security of a beadlock for low-pressure off-road running. They're wrapped in 37/12.5R17 BFGoodrich KO2s, the proven all-terrain that just works on a build like this.
