The Build

Built To Work & Play

This is our truck — built in-house to put the full range of Jax Motorsports' work on display. We started with an Icon Vehicle Dynamics Stage 9 Billet suspension system: 2.5-series CDCV coilovers with remote reservoirs up front, billet aluminum upper control arms running Icon's Delta Joint PRO, and a dual-rate rear coil setup with full adjustable billet links and an adjustable track bar. It nets 3 inches of lift up front and 2 inches in the rear and transforms the way this Land Cruiser rides. Underneath it all, a set of Innov8 Racing G600 wheels in machined finish wrapped in 37-inch BFGoodrich KM3 mud-terrain tires put the power to the ground.

The Details

The Suspension

We went straight to the top of Icon Vehicle Dynamics' lineup with a Stage 9 Billet system. Up front, 2.5-series coilovers with CDCV remote reservoirs and 10-position compression adjustment keep the truck composed no matter how hard it's pushed, paired with billet aluminum upper control arms running Icon's rebuildable Delta Joint PRO for 90 degrees of articulation. Out back, a dual-rate coil setup, full adjustable billet links, and an adjustable rear track bar dial in the ride and the rear-end geometry. Front differential drop brackets and polyurethane diff bushings round it out — netting 3 inches of lift up front and 2 inches in the rear and completely transforming the way this Land Cruiser rides and handles.

The Rolling Stock

For wheels we went with Innov8 Racing's G600 in a machined finish — a 100% made-in-America billet forged wheel that pairs real strength with a clean, bright look against the Underground paint. Wrapping them is a set of 37-inch BFGoodrich KM3 mud-terrain tires, so the grip underneath matches the rest of the build.

Let There Be Light

The centerpiece is a custom roof rack designed and built in-house here at Jax — and lined across the front with 11 Baja Designs Squadron Pros. Up on the A-pillars, a pair of Baja Designs LP4s on SDHQ Motorsports mounts light up the ditches, and out back a Baja Designs chase bar keeps things visible from behind. Every light is wired clean and run through a single controller.

Power & Air

An ARB dual air compressor keeps the KM3s aired up and handles any on-board air needs, while a SwitchPros SP-9100 manages the whole electrical system — every light, the compressor, and the accessories controlled from one clean interface. No cluttered switch panel, no guesswork.
